Ten years ago, when I first started doing hypnosis professionally, I had a friend named Alex who would “test drive” my MP3s as I was perfecting my technique. One day, he emailed me frantically telling me that he woke up one day and was suddenly able to draw amazingly well. His friends were so freaked out that they thought he was possessed and they stopped talking to him. You might be thinking, “What’s the big deal?” Well, Alex had never before been able to draw. In fact, he could not even draw a stick figure if his life depended upon it.
