Description
Physiologic changes in the cardiovascular system during pregnancy can have long-term effects. Dr. Andrea Keller identifies the potential risks and complications related to pregnancy.
Objectives:
- Treat common pregnancy complications with potential long-term implications
- Know how the biological changes associated with pregnancy may lead to cardiovascular disease
- Recommend modifiable behaviors to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease during pregnancy and postpartum
