Targeted school violence leaves a profound and lasting impact on our communities. In response to this threat, the U.S Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security prepared “Enhancing School Safety Using a Threat Assessment Model” to assist schools with preventing future violence. Join Lawrence J. Altman as he discusses the “Model” and how to advise school policy makers on developing actionable steps, comprehensive targeted violence prevention plans, and processes and procedures for conducting threat assessments on their campus.
