Description
Clock management is an essential part of most sports. From running down the clock to trying to get in a buzzer beater, maximizing time is essential. Coaches who understand how the clock works and prioritize the time left in the game can achieve strategic results that sometimes make a win or lose difference. Practicing law is not much different. Lawyers who understand how to use the time they have available to maximize the results they achieve often have better success, sometimes with a win-or-lose difference for their clients. In this CLE, we will explore best practices for time management, the impact of good time management on your team (legal support staff), the ethical rules that govern what lawyers do with their time, and how good time management strategies can achieve better results for clients.
Speakers: Phillip Raine, Simpson, Logback, Lynch, Norris, P.A., Overland Park, KS, and Ellen Mathis, Simpson, Logback, Lynch, Norris, P.A., Overland Park, KS
