She has lost weight in the past only to gain it back. In these six sessions, Susie Kappas builds great rapport with Christina to help guide, motivate and educate her about permanent healthy weight loss. Even though Christina consciously wants nothing more than to lose weight, it’s hard for her decide what weight she wants to be, and we begin to notice that Christina has a lot of subconscious resistance and many fears about losing weight. With finesse, Susie works with Christina cognitively and in hypnosis to increase her confidence, motivation, self-love and care, and guides her in building a healthy new self-image at her ideal size. Susie discovers and reinforces all the personal reasons and positive emotions for Christina to lose and maintain her weight loss, and as well helps Christina with her diet. She teaches her to stabilize her blood sugar and strengthen her metabolism through diet and exercise while reinforcing these new healthy eating habits and behaviors in hypnosis. While building her up and strengthening her mind and body, Susie then begins to gently uncover Christina’s blocks and subconscious resistance to losing and maintaining her weight loss. We find that Christina has lost weight numerous times in the past, 100 pounds, only to gain it back because of her fear of attention from others. Susie guides Christina through her subconscious resistance each week and as Christina begins to become more consciously aware of her resistance, she begins to break free. Some of the tools Susie uses with Christina to successfully break through her fears and resistance are EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), imagery journeys, venting dreams and using an Aura of Protection and Self-Love all around her. As Christina begins to lose weight and inches, she realizes that she has never lost weight like this before, and she likes it!
