Luis and Joe Diaz present Kajukenbo, a martial art from Hawaii created in Honolulu by Master Emperado and four other Martial Art Masters

Kajukenbo which is considered to be the first MMA is a kind of « Street fighting », a self defense MMA. It’s a realistic Martial Art and really efficient in real life situations, the style is explosive, fast, powerful and reactive.

Luis and Joe, technical directors in France, they are Master Angel Garcia’s students, the official successor official of Master Sijo Emperado. In this film you can find defense technique against knives, sticks, bare fists, and how to react when you’re grabbed or hit. A whole panel of techniques which will enable you to fight in a hostile environment. All these techniques are filmed from different angles, in real speed and slow motion, for a perfect training..

This film is dedicated to Master Emperado, deceased in April 2009 at the age of 93 years old OHANA ! (Hawaiian Family). Sijo Emperado wanted a tough art, a powerful and realistic one and we dedicate this film to him and hope that we can pay a tribute to him as much as we can by keeping on working hard as he always wanted.
