In this webinar, Dr. Brown will discuss how to practice medicine during a pandemic. This will include going over changes to rules & regulations, challenges to practicing doctors during a pandemic, choosing technology to help with telemedicine, and what you are able to diagnose using telemedicine.
In this webinar, Dr. Brown will:
• Compare the rules and regulations pre-COVID-19 and post-COVID-19
• Demonstrate a workflow to practice telemedicine in the participant's clinic
• Choose the right technologies to perform telemedicine with patients
• Evaluate what diagnoses can or can not be handled by telemedicine

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, then they can then submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.

Dr. Michael Brown is a graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his medical residency in Family and Community Medicine at Truman Medical Centers. Currently, he works for Meritas Health in North Kansas City, where he practices family medicine. Dr. Brown has held many positions within the American Osteopathic Association and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and currently serves on the MAOPS board where he holds the office of President-Elect. He lives in Smithville, MO with his wife and six children.
