Meridian Therapy is a system of clinical acupuncture utilized in Japan and rooted not only in the acupuncture classics (the Su Wen, Ling Shu, and Nan Jing) but also in the modern clinical experience of highly successful Japanese clinicians. In 1990, on the 50th anniversary of the Society of Traditional Japanese Medicine, the members of the editorial committee embarked on this book project that was completed over a ten-year period. Among the illustrious contributors, all of them distinguished scholars and practitioners of Meridian Therapy, are: Okabe Somei, M.D., Aizawa Ryo, Higuchi Hideyoshi, Okada Akizo, and Ikeda Masakazu.
