Diabetic Management – Carol Kirila

Upon completion of this activity, the Learner will be able to do the following regarding Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify barriers to effective diabetic treatment.
2. Develop strategies to optimize patient-centered diabetic care.
3. Determine Pharmaceutical company assistance and other resources available.
4. Develop a resource base to decrease confusion and increase options for diabetic care.

Accreditation Statements:
The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A Credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation.
