The real solution to anxiety
Most people think that anxiety is experienced because we are not relaxed enough. It isn’t that simple. Just trying to relax away from the anxiety can actually make it worse, and that is why so many can’t seem to get rid of it. Just relaxing only helps with very mild general anxiety, in which case it is not really experienced as a problem. More severe anxiety has been treated with a combination of the relaxed Alpha and the more focused/alert Beta brainwaves. We need a balance between the alert and relaxed brainwave spectrum present in the brain to prevent a development of anxiety which if not taken care of can lead to panic attacks and anxiety syndrome. Many don’t even know that they actually have a problem. The tricky part is that it is usually repressed.
I myself was diagnosed with exactly this in about 2008. I was doing deep mediation every day and it still occurred. As I understand it now, I had an imbalance and focused only on relaxing as much as possible. I needed to activate the higher brainwave spectrum as well. They say that anxiety syndrome never goes away but since I discovered and implemented this knowledge, irrational anxiety quickly goes away and never leads to real problems.
